About the Speakers
Melinda Wordel
Melinda Wordel joined Colgate Palmolive as Manager, Global Staffing in Global Human Resources in Feb 2007. Melinda is responsible for the talent management of Supply Chain, Research & Development and Global Information Technology. She is responsible for the overall strategy of the R&D University Relations Program which includes both intern and full time hiring efforts. Melinda also manages the RTI relationship for Colgate Palmolive.
Melinda brings with her 15 years of HR-related experience which includes eight years specializing in recruitment, both operational and strategic. Melinda previously worked at Johnson & Johnson, where she spent 6 years developing her staffing career at the corporate headquarters in New Jersey. There she was involved in managing talent acquisition and strategy for a subsidiary business, leading an international internship program and providing strategic sourcing support. Prior to J&J, Melinda held several Human Resources and recruitment roles.
She holds a BS degree in political science from Montclair State University.
Randi Casey
Randi Casey rejoined PSEG is 2008 as Director of Talent Acquisition.
Prior to that, she worked from 2004 to 2008 at BASF, The Chemical Company as Manager, Corporate Staffing in the Human Resources Department in Florham Park, N.J. One of Randi's key responsibilities is to ensure that sourcing activities continue to attract candidates from diverse backgrounds by working with the recruitment team and capitalizing on their experience with diverse recruiting programs.
Prior to joining BASF, Randi worked for PSEG Services Corporation in Newark, N.J. as the HR Manager responsible for recruiting, retention and performance development. In addition to her HR experience, Randi has over 12 years experience in Information Systems in network design, systems analysis, project management and process improvement. Randi has her undergraduate degree in Computer Science from St. Peter's College in Jersey City, N.J. and her MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.
Jack Wellman
Jack Wellman has been in management positions in the staffing industry since 1986. He currently is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Joulé Inc., joining the company in March 1998. Joulé is a growing regional and national provider of a full range of temporary staff, direct hire, and other outsourcing services - specializing in engineering, scientific, clerical/corporate support, industrial, marketing/creative/interactive, and telecommunications staffing. Since 1998 Joulé has increased its sales by over 200% and expanded into several new markets through both organic and acquisitive growth.
He has been involved for 20+ years in national and state trade associations representing the Staffing Industry, believing that active and positive involvement is a responsibility, not a choice, for individuals who have invested their time, talent and futures in this great industry. Currently he is active in the American Staffing Association and on the Boards of the National Association of Personnel Services and the New Jersey Staffing Alliance.
Believing that EXPERTISE and CREDENTIALS are important he is a strong supporter of certification programs in the staffing industry and personally has earned the following certifications issued by both national staffing associations: Certified Staffing Professional, Technical Services Certified, Certified Personnel Consultant and Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist.
Eric Rosenson
Eric Rosenson has been a Marketer of products and now people for nearly 30 years.
Eric is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University and earned his MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. His first work experience was for a Cornell University Economics Professor, as an Economic Consultant to the United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division. Moving into business, Eric worked briefly as a "milk man" for the family dairy distribution and retailing business, and leveraged that experience into a 25-year career in classical Marketing and Business Development roles at General Foods, American Home Products, Taro Pharmaceuticals and Forest Laboratories. In 2005, Eric joined Ruderfer & Associates, Inc., a boutique, Executive Recruiting Agency that specializes in the bio-pharmaceutical industry.
